Health Care Job Fair Scheduled,

Health Care Job Fair Scheduled,

The Switzerland County Technology and Education Center, in partnership with Maxim Healthcare Services, is sponsoring a Job Fair for home health care workers on Wedenday, December 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The Job Fair will be held at the TEC Center, 708 W. Seminary Street, Vevay.

Maxim Healthcare Services provides in-home health assistance to residents in southern Indiana, and the company’s  growth has led to numerous job openings in the region.

Residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the nature of Home Health Aide job requirements, apply for available positions, and be interviewed by Maxim representatives.  Residents are encouraged to bring resumes and to dress appropriately for an employment interview.

Partnering with employers who have available job openings is a central part of the workforce development initiative of the Switzerland County Economic Development Corporation.   Residents with questions about the Job Fair may call (812) 427-4475 for more information.  Additionally, the services of WorkOne are available at the TEC Center on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to help residents find employment opportunities and prepare for job interviews.
